Protecting Your iPod

Shortly after I bought the iPod, my next course of action was to see how I can protect this expensive-gizmo, not that I am always careless with electronic gadgets (though my friends think I have butter-fingers and wouldn’t let me near any of their gadgets). So I started googling away shortly after my interest on the iPod weaned away. Now there are plenty of products out there that look cool and claim a variety of things but what caught my attention was this “Allsop Splash Pack DriPod”. So read on…
With 50 million sold and counting, Apple's iPod is the aspirin of MP3 players. Whether its iPod/iTunes one-two punch will be able to maintain this market dominance in digital music playback and sales is unsure. But don't bet against them yet. But with all of the advancements, there are occasionally new problems. As with the latest 5th generation iPod and the iPod Nano's well reported propensity to scratch. Simply putting it in your pocket with say a wallet or mobile phone can result in a series of frustrating and blurring scratches on the front screen and the gleaming silver back. So just as it is important to protect your iPod from serious falls, it is important to protect it from minor bumps and bruises, because these gadgets aren't free.
Control your iPod without removing it from the case Large size for 3rd, 4th or 5th Generation iPods Water-proof, air-tight soft case for iPods or other portable electronic devices The Splash Pack is an air-tight case for your iPod. Protect it from water, sand, Jell-o or anything else nature can throw at you. And unlike those hard cases, the Splash Pack lets you adjust the volume, jump to the next song or browse your music catalog while keeping your iPod sealed and protected.
This thing features a triple seal, and a heat-sealed headphone jack. And it’s fully submersible to three meters (that’s almost 10 feet!). Use the lanyard to hang it around your neck, drape on your beach lounger, or strap to your kayak. And it’s not just for iPods. You can use it with any electronics, like another MP3 player, digital camera, or cell phone. Have fun in nature and protect your stuff.
